Seats
Most 3 wheel double buggies start life as single pushchairs, but some can convert to take a second seat or carrycot with adapters (these are usually more common in tandem buggies). You'll also see that some models let you add a ride-on board to older children who want to walk, but need a little help.
For a lightweight option that is ideal for city streets, check out the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to move, and it has a large basket with lots of storage. It can hold twins from birth and will accommodate two car seats or a carrycot and seat. The seats must face toward the forward direction and there isn't space for bags of groceries under the seat. You will require an extra sidepack.
Mountain Buggy Duet will be the best choice when you love off-roading. It's a side by side with the smallest footprint of any double buggy on the market. This makes it easier to pass through doors with narrow openings and on public transport and allows you to climb up and down kerbs without much trouble. Suspension
The quality of the suspension in a 3-wheel double buggy is crucial to how it is easy for you and your baby/s to push. It is crucial to enjoy a smooth ride because babies can feel every bump in the road. This is especially the case if you're driving on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models have front tires that lock to assist in maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.
Certain models have air-filled tyres which will give you a great all-terrain experience, but they can be prone to punctures, so make sure you have spares in the trunk. Other models use gel or foam tyres that are designed to take the bumps and are less prone to punctures however, you might feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back if you decide to jog.

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy could be folded up in a neat manner to be stored.
